Car

We offer one free parking spot per room for our guests or a parking spot in the underground car park (reservation possible) for 7 Euro per 24 hours.

Check in - Check out

On the day of arrival the rooms are ready from 2 p.m.. Check in is possible until 11 p.m.. Please have the passports of all participants including children ready for check-in. We request that the rooms be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Breakfast buffet and gala dinner

Our vast breakfast buffet is available from 7.30 to 10 a.m. Breakfast is included in the rate. Half board includes a 4-course gala dinner (choice between vegetarian or meat) served in the unique ambience of our hotel restaurant. You can register or cancel the 4-course gala dinner until 11 a.m. on the respective day. We serve dinner starting at 7 p.m., the latest time to start dinner is 8:30 p.m. Please note that the half board rate will not be refunded if you do not show up for dinner without cancellation.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of the building. This includes the bedrooms. You can smoke on the balconies or on the roof terrace.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed upon request. We charge 5 Euro per night for special cleaning of the room. Dog food is not included. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the house library or the dining rooms. Dogs are allowed in our public á-la-carte restaurant on the ground floor (open from Easter to the end of October).

Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation, early departure or late arrival, and if the number of people deviates from the booked number of people, the following fees apply:

• up to 21 days before expected arrival: no cancellation fee
• up to 14 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee
• up to 7 days prior to arrival: 60% cancellation fee
• less than 7 days prior to arrival: 70% cancellation fee
• no-show and cancellation after 12 a.m. of the arrival day: 100% cancellation fee

We recommend the HGV cancellation insurance, a travel cancellation insurance from our partners, the  Europäischen Reiseversicherung. You can sign up the insurrance here. Please note that we are unable to make exceptions to the cancellation periods and fees. Cancellations are valid only in written form (e-mail, fax or letter). Pesonally agreed cancellation policies (for example for groups) are valid only with a written confirmation by the Hotel Gruener Baum. Eventual caparre confirmatorie are not refundable.

Payment options

The hotel bill has to be cleared in the hotel at check-out at the latest. We accept cash payments, bank card, EC card, Mastercard, Maestro and VISA. Please note that due to legal constraints the limit for cash payments by citizens of the European Union is 999.99 Euro for person.
